What to write in about
A correction. This is the most valuable email we get. If a specification on a page is wrong, a product has been discontinued, or a claim does not hold up, tell us which page and what is wrong with it. We check it against the manufacturer’s documentation, fix it, and update the page’s “last updated” date. If you want to know what changed, say so and we will tell you.
A product we have missed. We cover a limited set of models and the market moves. If something genuinely good is absent, name it and say which coat type it is for.
A factual challenge. If you think our reasoning on a page is wrong — not just that you would have picked differently, but that the argument does not work — we want that. Published reasoning is the whole basis of this site, so an argument that breaks it is worth more to us than a compliment.
Partnership or press. Fine, with one standing answer attached: we do not accept payment for placement, sponsored reviews, or free product in exchange for coverage. See the editorial policy.
What we cannot do
We cannot give veterinary advice, and we will not try. If your dog has broken skin, a hot spot, bleeding from a nail, or is in any distress, that is a question for a veterinarian and not for a grooming-tools site. We also cannot diagnose a specific dog’s coat from a description or a photo with any confidence — the coat-type pages walk you through the three checks that do it properly in about a minute.
Who we are
Clip & Coat is published by MadGrey LLC and written by Brijon M.. We publish no phone number and no postal address — this is a two-person publication, not a storefront, and email is the honest way to reach it rather than a number nobody answers.
