Licensed photography used across the site, credited to the photographers who took it - and a plain statement of what it does and does not show.
What our imagery is
The photographs on Clip & Coat are licensed illustrative images of dogs, coats and grooming work. They show the kind of tool or the kind of coat a page is discussing. They are not photographs of our own dogs, our own tools, our own premises or our own completed work, and no page implies otherwise — presenting a stock photograph as first-hand evidence would be the same category of dishonesty as inventing a review.
Product images, where they appear, come from the retailer’s own product data for the product the page links to. Brand names, logos and product photographs remain the property of their respective owners and appear for identification and comparison. The site currently runs without a live product-image feed, so most product thumbnails are licensed photographs of the tool class rather than of the exact model — the alt text says what the image shows.
