What you can expect from this site, what you cannot, and the one disclaimer that genuinely matters: this is not veterinary advice.
1. Agreement
By using clipandcoat.com you agree to these terms. Clip & Coat is published by MadGrey LLC (“we”, “us”). If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the site.
2. The content is information, not instruction
Everything here is published for general information. We write carefully, cite our sources and document our method on how we review, but we cannot see your dog, your tools or your situation. You are responsible for deciding whether anything here applies to your animal, and for the consequences of acting on it.
3. Animal care disclaimer
Nothing on this site is veterinary advice and none of it substitutes for a veterinarian. Grooming involves sharp blades, heat, high-velocity air and restraint, and it can injure a dog if done carelessly. If your dog has broken skin, a hot spot, a wound, a nail bleeding that will not stop, any skin or coat condition, or is in distress, consult a veterinarian rather than a website. If a coat is matted to the skin, or a dog cannot be safely handled, that is work for a professional groomer. We disclaim responsibility for injury to any animal or person arising from the use of information on this site.
